Some people miss out on extra money they could be getting. You might be one of them.

What Benefits Could You Get?

Here are five benefits that many people don’t know they can get:

Pension Credit
This is extra money for people over State Pension age. It can also help you get a free TV licence and help with glasses, dentist bills and winter heating.

Attendance Allowance
If you’re over State Pension age and need help because of a health problem, this can give you extra money.

Universal Credit (UC)
If you are of working age and don’t earn much - or are not working - you may be able to get this benefit. It also helps with rent costs.

Carer’s Allowance
If you look after someone who gets Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Disabled Living Allowance (DLA) or Attendance Allowance (AA) and you earn less than £196 a week after tax, you might get this benefit.

Disability Living Allowance for Children (DLA)
If your child has a health condition or disability, you may be able to claim DLA to help with costs.
