When to call the Police

Do you feel you or someone else could be in danger?

Have you been attacked or abused? Call 999 and ask for the police. The call handler will take your details and dispatch the most appropriate response.

Has a crime been committed?

Call 101. Give the details of the incident and keep a record of the date and time of the call, any incident numbers issued and the name of the person you have spoken to.
