Community Housing colleagues recently came together to celebrate Eid al-Adha as part of a special event organised by our Cultural Heritage Diversity Group (CHDG).
The lunchtime event gave colleagues the opportunity to learn more about the significance of Eid al-Adha and explore different cultural traditions in a welcoming and friendly environment.
A highlight of the event was the beautiful henna artwork created by a talented guest artist, giving colleagues the chance to learn more about this traditional form of cultural expression.
Colleagues also enjoyed a selection of food, including samosas, bhajis and traditional sweets.
The event was the first CHDG Ally Event and forms part of our ongoing commitment to celebrating diversity, promoting inclusion and increasing cultural awareness across Community Housing.
By bringing people together to learn from one another, events like these help us build a more inclusive workplace and strengthen our understanding of the diverse communities we serve.
