Community Housing Colleagues Bite Back at Loan Sharks

Last week was Bite Back Week - we'd like to thank everyone who followed along and helped spread the message.

Throughout the week, we’ve been sharing advice and information to help people stay safe from loan sharks and understand the warning signs of illegal money lending.

As part of Bite Back Week, colleagues from Community Housing held a community event on Thursday, where local people had the chance to meet Sid the Shark, speak to our team and partner organisations, and pick up useful information and advice on where to get help.

To help spread the message even further, we also delivered information leaflets to homes across the area, raising awareness of the dangers of loan sharks and encouraging anyone who needs support to come forward. By working together, we can help protect our communities and ensure people know where to turn for safe, trusted advice.

If you suspect loan shark activity, don't stay silent. Report it to Stop Loan Sharks England in confidence.
