Making it easier to find out about your housing services

STAIRs stands for Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements. It may have a complicated name, but the idea behind it is simple:

From 1 October 2026, new rules called STAIRs are being introduced for housing associations like Community Housing. You should be able to easily find information about how we manage your home and the services we provide.

What information can I see?
We will publish information about areas such as:

Your home
Repairs, maintenance and improvements.

Your money
Information about rents, service charges and how money is used.

How we're doing
Our performance, including repairs and complaints.

How we work
How decisions are made and how we manage our housing services.


What changes in April 2027?
From 1 April 2027, you will also be able to ask us for information about how we manage our homes and housing services. There may be some information that we cannot share, for example if it contains someone else's personal information.
