World Book Night celebrates the joy of reading and famous authors have donated over 1 million books to give away across the UK. To launch the new Carter Court Book Club which is held at Carter Court, Carter Avenue, Kidderminster, donated copies of Alan Bennett’s book “A life like other people’s” will be given to members at a celebration event on Friday 4th March, 2-4pm. Light refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome to attend. Feel free to bring along any books you would like to swap or donate to the Book Club.
