We are very proud to announce that Care & Support24 Worker, Angie Shuck received a “No Barriers Mike Oborski Award” for her commitment to providing outstanding support to residents living in Purcell House, Kidderminster.
The 2014 awards event was held at the Wyre Forest Community Housing Group offices at Foley Grove Kidderminster on Friday 24 October 2014.
Organised by Wyre Forest District Council, the event celebrated the significant contribution made by individuals, businesses and organisations to improving access, service or employment possibilities for local people with disabilities.
This year saw 18 awards presented to individuals, groups and organisations that had been nominated for going the extra mile.
Representatives from local private and public sector organisations were on the panel that considered the nominations which were submitted from residents and businesses across the district.
Angie’s nomination came from a number of residents at Purcell House who praised her for “going out of her way every day to help residents”
Angie said she was thrilled to have received the award and thanked residents for taking time to put her forward.
