The Brathay Apprentice Challenge 2015

Brathay Apprentice LogoThe Brathay Apprentice Challenge (BAC) is supported by the National Apprenticeship Service and is a search to find the ‘Apprentice Team of the Year 2015’.

Now in its fourth year, the BAC tests the team building and leadership skills as well as the logistical and communication abilities of apprentices. It takes the form of a series of challenges including, raising awareness of apprenticeships and local community projects.

On Friday 12th December, over 23 apprentices from various areas of The Community Housing Group (TCHG) met to undertake a series of activities and team building challenges.  The ultimate goal was to be selected for a place in the TCHG ‘TEAM 2015’ who will enter the BAC 2015.

The following nine apprentices were selected to form the TCHG ‘TEAM’: Evie Brookes - Human Resources Higher Apprentice, Joe Adams - Carpentry Apprentice, Abbey Williams - Finance Apprentice, Will Ward - Gas Apprentice, Charlie Campbell - IT Apprentice, Chelsea-Rose Jay - Customer Services Apprentice, and Harry Yates, Richard Lavelle and Matt Johnson - Grounds Apprentices.

During January to March 2015 the ‘TEAM’ will be raising awareness about Apprenticeships in the Wyre Forest whilst also engaging with the local community to deliver a project which will benefit members of that community.
