Andy Snowdon, an apprentice with Oakleaf Grounds Services, was thrilled to be involved in the project with Keepmoat and return to his old school, Baxter College, as part of the project to improve the flowerbeds and create a new seating area for the pupils.

A team from Oakleaf Grounds Services, along with housing and regeneration specialists, Keepmoat, joined forces to create an attractive seating area in the playground at Baxter Business and Enterprise College, Kidderminster.

Once Keepmoat had constructed the raised bedded area, the Grounds team, including Andy, went in to transform the raised bed into an attractive area to sit.

Andy (pictured below), spent time with the pupils from both Baxter College and Enterprise College in Kidderminster, helping them to participate in the planting and to add the finishing touches to the area.

The school were really pleased with the new addition to their playground and appreciated that the children were given the chance to take part in the planting work and learn about the work that Andy now does, as well as transform their own playground.
