“Building skills for business” – an invitation to our apprenticeship awareness event 21 July 2011

Apprenticeship Awareness event programme

With the recent Government announcement to support an additional 50,000 apprentices, there has never been a better time to consider them as part of your workforce development strategy.

Apprenticeships can improve the productivity and profitability of a business, as well as injecting new ideas and energy into business development.

They are also an effective way to fill skills gaps and enable succession planning to take place.

A research report conducted on behalf of the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) revealed that 83% of employers rely on their apprenticeship programme to provide skilled workers for the future and 88% felt that apprenticeships lead to a more motivated and satisfied workforce.

As Wyre Forest National Apprenticeship Service Ambassadors, we would like to invite you to attend our apprenticeship awareness event. We will showcase the benefits of apprenticeships and there will be an opportunity to meet representatives from the National Apprenticeship Service who can provide practical help, support and advice in all aspects of apprenticeship programmes
