The official opening of The Community Housing Group’s latest play area took place on Thursday 14th July.
The park, in Baskerville Road, has been refurbished and now features a ball court, swings and a roundabout.
The Community Housing Group worked in partnership with Wyre Forest Community Safety Partnership and Broadwaters Residents Action Group (BRAG), who identified that a new play area was a key priority for young children and families in the area.
Funding from the Big Lottery was secured by BRAG to support the opening event and to provide activities in the park during the summer.
