We celebrated Get Online Week with the official launch of the digital kiosk at Community House. This easy to use screen allows access to a range of helpful websites including the MYaccount online tenancy service, Job Centre Plus and Homechoice Plus.
Nick Parker, Director of Housing & Neighbourhood Services joined tenant Digital Volunteers, Anne Leake and David Linwood to review the new kiosk.
“More and more services are going online and we understand that not everyone has a computer or smart phone at home,” said Nick Parker. “This kiosk will make it easier for customers to be able to use the internet and get some support from our teams if they need it.”
The kiosk is available Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm in the Community House reception area.
For customers who are online but not able to visit or contact the company during normal working hours, the MYaccount service, developed with the help of tenant volunteers, gives easy access to tenancy services such as checking rent account balances, reporting repairs or reporting anti-social behaviour. It is available 24 hours a day and can be accessed through www.wfch.co.uk.
