Worcestershire TeleCare, part of The Community Housing Group, has achieved the requirements of the revised Telecare Services Association’s (TSA) Code of Practice by exceeding the target set for emergency calls being answered within 1 minute.
The TSA is the UK representative body for telecare and telehealth, and developed the Code of Practice as a framework for service providers to ensure excellent standards of service delivery, and to assist customers and their families and carers in identifying quality providers.
The Code of Practice was updated in 2009 and attainment of Key Performance Indicators became more challenging. However, as a result of Worcestershire TeleCare’s hard work and dedication, the team has achieved this accreditation and has demonstrated that 98.5% of calls can be answered within 1 minute.
