Vestia Community Trust (part of The Community Housing Group) has been successful in securing funding to help young people in to work.

The £10,000 will enable Vestia Training to work with 18-24 year olds in areas of highest need in the Wyre Forest.

The programme will focus on supporting young adults to be ‘job ready’ and increase their chances of gaining employment.

The funding will complement a ‘Backing Young Britain’ programme sponsored by some of The Community Housing Group’s Tenants Consultative Committees.

‘Backing Young Britain’ is a national campaign to create new opportunities for thousands of young people during the recession.
