Vote for your favourite community project and help them win funding of up to £6,000

Two Wyre Forest projects are competing for funding worth £6000 through NatWest’s Community Force 2011 programme.

The two projects currently supported by Vestia Community Trust (part of The Community Housing Group) have made it through the application stage and join 5800 projects under consideration.

The Community Force website allows local projects and charities to raise awareness of their work, and make their plans a reality with the support of NatWest and their community.

Voting begins on Friday 26th September 2011 and the three projects with the most votes in each area will receive £6,000 to help them continue to support their local community. Everyone who registers with the site will be allowed to vote for three different projects.

The two projects supported by Vestia are:

  1. 1.      Friends of St. George’s Park

 www.stgeorgespark.weebly.com

An active community led volunteer group that works hard to help create a well maintained and safe public park. Their ‘Urban Wildlife Project’ will bring a much needed wildlife habitat to their urban green space.
