Following a very positive pre-commencement meeting, ENGIE have clearly taken on board the need for safety, especially in respect of the existing scheme and also minimising the impact the works will have on the operation of Berrington Court.

Key dates agreed to start onsite:

12 August – there will be a small presence onsite for site set up, to put in COVID precautions and safe working arrangements as well as welfare and the creation of storage areas.

17 August – the site will start to be stripped with increasing labour onsite and the commencement of foundations etc.

It is currently a 68 week programme with the estimated completion date being 17 December 2021.

Also this will affect the overspill carpark at Berrington Court as well as the turning circle, and these will no longer be in use as from 10 August 2020.
