Two students from Stourport High School helped prevent a possible disaster by alerting a Wyre Forest Community Housing Neighbourhood Warden to a fire in a park.
The Warden called the Fire Service to extinguish the fire at Memorial Park in Stourport after being informed of the incident by Ryan and Ashley on Wednesday 11th January.
Thanks to the responsible actions of the community spirited young people, a potentially life-threatening emergency was avoided.
