We’re really pleased to announce that we have a new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) joining us on Tuesday 24th June 2025.

Joanna Monro brings exceptional experience from both the housing sector and beyond. She began her career at Sanctuary Housing Group and Midland Heart, where she developed a deep understanding of our sector's values and social responsibility. Despite moving on from the housing sector, she has maintained her commitment to tackling homelessness through volunteer work with local charities.

Joanna has a genuine passion for our mission and is drawn to Community Housing specifically because of our focus on making a real difference in local communities. She will be a tremendous addition to our leadership team as we continue delivering great services and building safe communities. Her expertise will be invaluable in supporting our financial strategy and ensuring Community Housing remains well-positioned to deliver long-term sustainability and value for residents.

Joanna will be working closely with Ebele Akojie, our Interim CFO until the end of August, to handover some of the great work that she has started.
