On Wednesday 4 December, Gill and Lisa from our Customer Engagement Team visited Foley Park to hand out reflective bag keyrings to children, helping them stay safe and visible during the darker winter evenings.

The team were also joined by Senior Police Community Support Officer Andy Stevens from West Mercia Police, along with Barnardo’s Family Hub Team, who spent time speaking with parents outside Birchen Coppice Primary School.

Later in the day, families were encouraged to visit the nearby shop area, where H.E.L.P were offering free hot meals, as well as free advent calendars provided by Barnardo’s. 

By working together with local partners, we’re hoping to strengthen community safety, ease household pressures, and make sure families feel supported during the winter months.
