Colleagues across the organisation have once again demonstrated their generosity and team spirit by taking part in two festive charity initiatives in December, raising funds and vital supplies for causes that make a real difference in our communities.

Christmas Charity Bake Off Raises £300 for Save the Children
Our teams embraced the festive spirit for Christmas Jumper Day by taking part in our annual Christmas Charity Bake Off in support of Save the Children. 

Participants were invited to bake, taste or both, with an impressive selection of homemade bakes enjoyed throughout the day.

Through a combination of cash contributions and online donations, colleagues raised £186, which was then increased to £300 with a company top?up. The funds will support Save the Children’s work to improve the lives of children around the world, particularly during the winter months when support is needed most.

Over 366kg of Donations Collected for Kidderminster Foodbank
Festive goodwill continued with the announcement of this year’s Christmas Foodbank Competition results.

Colleagues rallied together to donate food and essential items for Kidderminster Foodbank, a local charity that plays a crucial role in supporting individuals and families experiencing hardship.

Thanks to the outstanding generosity of staff, the competition collected over 366kg of donations which is the equivalent to more than a third of a tonne, or put another way, heavier than all nine of Santa’s reindeer combined.

Kidderminster Foodbank expressed their gratitude for the substantial contribution, which will help ensure more people in the community receive support at a time of year that can be particularly challenging.

Both activities showcased the strength of community spirit across the organisation, highlighting what can be achieved when colleagues come together with a shared purpose.

These initiatives are a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back especially at Christmas, when acts of kindness can have a meaningful and lasting impact.
