Over the last couple of months, there have been a few changes within our Housing Services team. We wanted to share these updates with you, so you know who is looking after our services and supporting our customers.

Saying Thank You and Farewell
At the end of November, we said goodbye to David Jones, our Localities Manager, who retired after 25 years of dedicated service. David has played an important role in supporting our neighbourhoods, and we would like to thank him for all his hard work and commitment. We wish him a very happy and well-earned retirement.

We will also be saying goodbye to another familiar face, Neighbourhood Coordinator Tim Green, who will be retiring at the end of March. Tim has been with us for 25 years and has made a real difference through his work. We will be sharing our thanks and best wishes with him as he prepares for the next chapter.

Welcoming new faces
We are pleased to be welcoming Jo Kellie, who will be joining us at the beginning of January as Housing Manager – Localities. Jo will be working closely with the neighbourhood teams and customers to manage local services.

Jo has over 20 years of experience in housing management. She started her career as a Housing Officer in Gloucestershire before moving to team leader and management roles in Platform Housing. 

Changes within the team
There have also been some changes within our existing team. Cath Joyce has moved across from managing the Income Team into her new role as Housing Manager – Operations. Cath now oversees several key services that help customers at different stages of their tenancy. Under Cath’s management is the Lettings and New Tenancy Support Team, led by Beverley Hiden. This team focuses on reletting our homes and making sure customers have the best possible start when they move in.

Our Income Team is now managed by Sarah Arnold, who supports customers with rent and money matters. 

Heather Whittaker continues in her role as Home Ownership Advisor, looking after our leasehold and shared ownership customers.

Looking ahead
Our teams continue to work closely together to support customers, look after our neighbourhoods and deliver the services our communities rely on.
